POLICIES
Reservation Policy:
For reservations made more than 2 weeks in advance, 1/2 of anticipated fees are required to confirm. Balance of payment is due no later than two weeks prior to stay. All reservations made within two weeks of delivery of services or stay require full payment to confirm. Reservations are determined to be confirmed upon receipt of, and successful processing of payment.
Check-in is after 4:00 P.M.
Check-out is before 11:00 A.M.
Prices on unconfirmed reservations are subject to change without notice.
Additional Guest and Pet Policy:
Rates are based upon a fixed number of guests. There is a fee for additional guests and/or pets (with prior permission only). All pets must be under control and on a leash at all times. Any pet causing a nuisance or disturbance is to be removed from the premises. Pet owner is responsible for all waste and/or damage cleanup.
Quiet Time:
For the enjoyment of all, please treat your fellow campers with respect and courtesy. Quiet time is from 10 PM to 8 AM. Especially during the quiet time hours, please refrain from playing radios, televisions and music loudly and loud talking so as not to disturb your neighbors.
Payment Policy:
All use of facilities and delivery of services by Mitchell Bay Landing to be paid in U.S. cash, local checks, or approved credit cards. All quoted prices are subject to sales tax/transit accommodation tax.
Cancellation Policy:
Written advance notice is required no later than two weeks prior to planned date of arrival or delivery of services. Refunds for no show/early checkout/termination of services are issued at the discretion of Mitchell Bay Landing. All cancellation refunds are subject to a 10% processing fee.
Cleaning and Damage Deposit Policy:
All vessel, trailer and gear rentals are subject to a cleaning and damage deposit. All rentals are to be returned cleaned, undamaged and ready for future service.
Inventory checklist to be completed at check-in and check-out. Refund of damage/cleaning deposits require check out inspection, and may be subject to a 48 hour hold before disbursement.
Kayak Tour Guidelines:
Kayak tour guests are asked to be aware of their physical conditioning and skill level prior to choosing a tour. Please be sure to select a tour that is appropriate to your level of experience and physical ability. You need to understand that paddling over an extended period of time can be exhausting, requiring elevated physical effort. While we make every effort to protect you during a tour, you must remember that you are responsible for the appropriateness of the tour.
It is imperative that you accept and support the authority and directives of the guide. For your own safety, it is necessary that the tour group stay together under supervision (especially respecting any and all Federal, State, and local laws). Any illegal actions or misbehavior could require the immediate termination of the tour, returning to home shore. Enjoying and preserving the unique beauty of our environment does mandate a moral and sensitive responsibility in us all.
Liability:
We are not responsible for theft or personal harm and are not liable for loss or injury of any kind.
Guests use facilities at own risk.
All guests are required to comply with all local, county, state and federal laws, including Mitchell Bay Landing rules and regulations.
Non compliance will result in immediate eviction without refund and possible notification of local authorities.
A fee of $25.00 will be charged for returned NSF checks. Any legal action sought by Mitchell Bay Landing to rectify civil and/or personal damages will include all legal and collection costs. Signature on registration forms is implicit acknowledgement and agreement of terms by guests.
Seasonal rates do apply. Be sure to make your reservations early to guarantee confirmed rate and availability.
