Welcome To Mitchell Bay Landing Come visit us in Mitchell Bay, located on the west side of San Juan Island, in scenic northwest Washington State. Our quiet, personal, waterfront retreat, with whale watching and fishing just out on the bay, is a great home-base from which to venture around the island. Our retreat offers waterfront tent camping and pickup camping. For those looking for lodging, we have trailers with waterfront views. We specialize in personal retreats, family or small group reunions, BBQ's and catered celebrations. Be sure to inquire about courtesy use of our rowboat to explore the bay and enjoy great sunsets! For those with their own carry-in kayak or small skiff, you can launch from the tide flats at the bottom of our path to the bay. Let us host your kayak tours or boat and kayak rentals. Since we are a small, family oriented vacation haven, plan early to be assured of your choice in accommodations and adventures. While you're on San Juan Island, you can check out our seasonal local events, theater, parades, as well as the National/State/County Parks, the annual County Fair, fishing derbies, craft shows and more.
